At ReNew Dental Care, many of our patients come from surrounding communities throughout Bermuda, including Hamilton Harbor, Camden, Mount Pleasant, Flatts Village, St. George’s Parish, Tucker’s Town, and more.
In addition, we’re conveniently located within walking distance of Victoria Park and Mount Saint Agnes Academy. Our office is just a short drive from the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, Oceanview Golf Course and King Edward Memorial Hospital. Many of our patients schedule appointments before or after work (or even on their lunch breaks) so they can return to work with the brightest smile in the room!
Victoria Park is one of the oldest original lots in Hamilton, having been set aside in 1790 as a public space at the time the original 145 acres of land were first auctioned off to start the new settlement. Ideal for a leisurely stroll, Victoria Park is worth wandering through if only to admire the lovely bandstand erected in 1889 to commemorate the Jubilee.
An incredible complex, this aquarium offers visitors a peek into the natural wonders found in the Caribbean. The complex features seals, turtles, sharks, fish, monkeys, birds, and the first living coral reef exhibit in the world! Located in Flatts, visitors can also enjoy breathtaking island views in every area of the complex.
Front Street offers fantastic restaurants and upscale shopping. Tourists often claim it looks like a postcard. Remember not to forget to visit the ever-popular birdcage! During the Christmas season the entire street is decorated with spectacular light displays. Most of the restaurants on Front Street feature veranda-style outdoor patio seating so you can overlook the harbour while enjoying a meal.
The gallery was established in 1992, featuring a historical and contemporary collection to reflect the history and diversity of Bermuda’s ever-evolving demographics. Artwork styles include European, traditional West African, Bermudian, American Impressionism, photography and more. The gallery has provided sculpture for the Queen Elizabeth Park (formerly Par-la-Ville Park) in Hamilton and has a satellite location in St. George’s.
If you’re looking for a casual yet delicious dining experience, one of our favorite spots is Mad Hatters by the Bermuda Sailors Home. This hidden gem of a restaurant serves up fresh seafood and fusion cuisine. Their rockfish special is a favorite of locals and tourists alike!
The best fish sandwich in Bermuda (at least that’s what we locals say) can be found at Art Mel’s Spicy Dicy on Saint Monica’s Road. Definitely worth the short walk from Front Street, be sure to try this local favorite.
If breakfast is on your mind, wander into Ten Cafe & Bistro just down the street from our office on Dundonald Street. You can choose from fresh-brewed coffees, pastries, daily cafe specials, brunch offerings, or wine and tapas after work.
